Wanderlust
Backcountry stories from the world's edges. Made up — but a working showcase.
About Wanderlust
This is norly.io's English-language showcase profile — a working demo that shows what the platform looks like when an adventurous YouTuber is in full flow. The numbers, the charts, the activity — all fabricated for demonstration. There's no real Wanderlust posting from the Patagonian highlands. But your dashboard and your support page will work exactly like this once you set yours up. Wanderlust covers backcountry expeditions, remote hiking routes, and off-grid travel on every continent. New video every two weeks. Always shot alone.

Frequently asked questions
How does Norly work for YouTubers?⌄
You connect your YouTube RSS feed to Norly. Every time you publish a new video, Norly detects it and automatically charges your per-video supporters. Monthly supporters are charged on a regular Stripe billing cycle regardless of upload cadence. You set no price — fans choose what to pay.
What's the platform fee?⌄
0%. Norly charges no platform fee. The only cost is Stripe's standard payment processing fee — typically 1.4% + $0.30 on US cards. Every other cent goes directly to you via Stripe Connect. No monthly subscriptions, no hidden markups.
When do I get paid?⌄
Money goes directly into your Stripe balance and is paid out to your bank automatically. Standard payout schedule is 7 days on the first payout, then daily or weekly — your choice inside the Stripe dashboard. Norly never holds your money; we're just the pipe.
What support models can I offer?⌄
Three models: monthly recurring (fan pays a fixed amount each month), per-video (fan's card is charged automatically each time you upload something new), and one-time donations. You pick which are active; fans pick which model they want and how much they contribute — from $5 and up.
How does per-video support work?⌄
You provide your YouTube channel's RSS feed URL (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml?channel_id=YOUR_CHANNEL_ID). Norly checks the feed every hour. When a new video appears, we charge all your per-video supporters automatically. They save their card when they sign up; no action needed from them per upload.
What if Norly shuts down?⌄
Your fans' payment methods and your Stripe account belong to Stripe — not us. If Norly shuts down, you retain full access to your Stripe dashboard, can cancel subscriptions from there, and export all data directly. We're a payment layer on top of Stripe, not a walled garden.
Why is it free?⌄
Norly is a hobby project, not a VC-backed startup. The goal is a clean, honest payment layer for creators without the 5–10% platform tax that the big players charge. If it ever costs money to run at scale, we'll be transparent about it first.
